Andy flannagan invites members to csm's conference programme

We are now only two weeks away from the Labour party conference, so I wanted to remind you about the CSM events that are happening. We are running a record number of thirteen events this year, as various agencies have sought to partner with us.
As CSM members and friends we of course hope that you will make it down to Brighton primarily for the conference service, which again this year promises to be a great event with input from Elaine Storkey, a senior cabinet minister, CAFOD and myself. It is taking place at Gloucester Place Baptist church, Gloucester Place, BN1 4AA, which is just a couple of minutes from the train station. The service begins at 11am sharp, Sunday 27th September.
We know many of you can only make it to conference for the day on the Sunday, so we have included two more CSM events that day in the same venue to make your journey even more worthwhile!
At 12:45pm there will be a fascinating meeting on "Innovative financing and climate change", focusing on measures such as the Currency Transaction Levy, which is gaining some momentum amongst the G20. The speakers will include Sarah McCarthy-Fry MP, Exchequer minister, David Hillman from Stampout poverty and Phil Bloomer from Oxfam. This is an incredible opportunity for us to make our voices heard on an issue that CSM members have been passionate about for quite some time now, but which is finally making it into the public square. Please come and lend your support.
At 6:30pm we return to the same venue for the CSM prayer gathering - a wonderful opportunity to pray for nation, government and party, in conjunction with members of churches from Brighton.
If you'd like to download the flyer you can download it here - please email this to invite others also.
Please note none of these events require a conference security pass and have no admission cost.
I look forward to seeing you in Brighton! it will be a great day by the sea! Let's book our trains...
