Demos report - Faithful Citizens

This report outlines the ways in which people of faith, particularly Christians, have been perceieved by many in politics to represent the political 'right', some have gone as far as to pigeon hole the Church of England as 'the Conservative Party at prayer'. Demos's newest report sets out why this isn't the case.

The Faithful Citizens report recommends that progressive politicians should work with faith groups on issues which they are particularly engaged, including immigration, women's rights, international development, the environment and youth work. Faith group members, the report argues, will be key to any future, election-winning, progressive coalition.
